The chalet and its equipments

Yes. La Tzoumaz Lodge is directly connected to Verbier and the 4 Vallées ski area — the largest ski domain in Switzerland — by gondola lift. In summer, the Croix de Coeur road provides direct access (30 minutes drive on a scenery road). The gondola base station is a 5-minute drive or shuttle ride from the chalet.

La Tzoumaz Lodge accommodates between 8 and 12 guests, depending on the chosen formula.

Catered option (with private chef):
The chalet offers 4 en-suite bedrooms for up to 8 guests.
If you require the fifth bedroom while opting for the private-chef service, please liaise with us so that we can arrange suitable accommodation for the chef. In this configuration, the chalet can host up to 10 guests.

Self-catered option:
The chalet includes 5 bedrooms, accommodating up to 10 guests.

Additional children or a baby:
The family bedroom can also accommodate a baby free of charge (in a cot), or one to two children in additional single beds. In this case, a supplement of CHF 300 per child per week applies.
With this extended configuration, the chalet can welcome up to 12 guests.

La Tzoumaz Lodge is a contemporary luxury chalet of 280 m², eco-built in 2024–2025 in La Tzoumaz, Valais, Switzerland, at an altitude of 1,500 m. It blends modern design with authentic antique pieces, and is operated as a high-end private rental — either fully catered with a private chef, or self-catered with access to a professional kitchen. It sleeps 10 to 12 guests across 4 or 5 en-suite bedrooms. Daily housekeeping is included, offering you a seamless and comfortable stay.

La Tzoumaz Lodge includes: a 60 m² living room with fireplace, a dining table for 12, a Pleyel baby grand piano, and mountain terrace; 4 or 5 en-suite bedrooms with underfloor heating; a professional kitchen; a traditional sauna; a ski room with boot dryers; a private ski locker at the foot of the gondola; 3 parking spaces with EV charging (11 kW); and Netflix, Wi-Fi, a connected projector, and a Bluetooth hi-fi system. Daily housekeeping (4 hours/day for direct bookings) is included in both options.

Yes. La Tzoumaz Lodge is well‑suited for multi‑generational families and groups with children. The modular family bedroom can accommodate 2 to 4 children and has its own en‑suite bathroom. Tailored children’s menus are available in the catered option, and a selection of games and special equipment is also provided. The resort features the longest toboggan run in Western Switzerland, a free ice rink, and a wide range of family‑friendly outdoor activities.

Both in winter and summer, the region offers many activities for families. In summer, the paths around the Maison de la Forêt provide fun and educational experiences while the nearby towns of Martigny and Sion offer a rich variety of cultural and outdoor activities. The chalet itself is surrounded by a large, private garden, offering children a safe and spacious place to play and explore.

Yes. La Tzoumaz Lodge is suitable for small corporate retreats and off‑site meetings.
We have already hosted a 2–3‑day corporate seminar, and the team was extremely satisfied with both the setting and the working conditions.

The chalet is equipped with everything needed for productive sessions: a laptop, a printer, a connected video projector for presentations and immersive video‑conferencing, a paperboard, and a large table seating up to 12 people. Breakout discussions can also be held on the terrace or in the garden, offering a refreshing change of environment.

Corporate stays at La Tzoumaz Lodge naturally combine focused, intensive work sessions with forest walks offering beautiful mountain views, ideal for reflection and team bonding.

Due to the chalet’s limited accommodation capacity, corporate groups may need to combine the Lodge with an additional chalet or nearby hotel — as we successfully did for our previous seminar.

The chalet has been designed and is operated with sustainability at its core.
We adhere to the guidelines of the Swisstainable and Valais Excellence – Positive Economy certifications, and an application for the European eco-label certification is currently underway.

This certification is based on compliance with 67 criteria divided into five categories: general management, energy consumption reduction, water consumption reduction, waste and wastewater management and sorting, and other environmental commitments. The chalet features notably double-flow ventilation, reinforced thermal insulation, and an EV charging station.

We will be happy to provide you with further information upon request.

La Tzoumaz Lodge can arrange a range of in-house and local services: in-room massages, a wine tasting evening with sommelier Valentine Schuwey-Luyet, a jazz or classical musician for the aperitif, and a professional magician (available during school holidays and Christmas). Ski lessons, lift passes, and transfers can also be organised upon request.

La Tzoumaz Lodge Catered and Self Catered Options

In the catered option, our private chef prepares all meals: breakfast, afternoon tea, aperitif, dinner, and herbal teas, for up to 8 to 12 guests. The kitchen remains closed to guests (except on the chef's day off). In the self-catered option, guests have full access to the professional kitchen, the chalet sleeps up to 10 to 12 guests (5 bedrooms), and daily housekeeping is also included. Both options include 4 hours of daily cleaning when booked directly.

Yes. In the catered option, a private chef is on-site daily and prepares five services: breakfast, afternoon tea, aperitif, a three-course dinner, and herbal teas. The chef sources local Valais products and can accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests (including premium ingredients such as truffles or foie gras, available at an additional cost). The dining table seats up to 12 guests. With advance notice (at least 24 hours), the chef can cater for additional guests beyond the resident group. A wine evening with certified sommelier Valentine Schuwey-Luyet can also be arranged.
