When you book directly with us, enjoy 4 hours of daily cleaning (instead of the standard 2).

As a thank-you for booking directly, we’ll be delighted to offer you Champagne at your arrival and a special gift from the chalet at the end of your stay.

Please note that

  • The chalet is available only as a full property rental (except for limited summer exceptions) and on a weekly basis (except during summer/ low season).
  •  Daily cleaning service is included (excluding very short stay).
  • Mid-stay towels’ change is included.
  • Complimentary self-serve tea, bio herbal tea and coffee are available throughout your stay.
  • The Catered package includes breakfast, afternoon tea, aperitif, dinner, and hot drinks 6 days a week. On Thursdays, the chef’s day off, a continental breakfast is prepared for you in advance. You will have access to the professional kitchen on that day (incl Fondue and Raclette sets).

    The prices for the catered stay are indicative and based on meals for 8 adults. Children under 12 enjoy a 20% discount on meals.

  • The VAT is included, Tourist Tax is not included (CHF 2.50 per night per person, CHF 1.50 for children under 15, free for children under 6).

Flights and transfers are not included but can be arranged. Based on the information published by the Tourist office, the fares for a transfer between Riddes and La Tzoumaz for up to 4 persons are c. CHF 60, while transfers between Martigny or Sion and La Tzoumaz are c. CHF 100-110. Transfers for larger groups (up to 8 or up to 13) can also be arranged. Pls do not hesitate to contact us.

We kindly prefer payment by bank transfer.
Debit and credit cards (Visa etc) are also accepted.
Any additional charges (such as wines, etc.) may be settled in cash, card or by bank transfer.
Services provided by our partners should be paid for directly to them.

Please, contact us as soon as possible, by e-mail or Whatsapp/ Phone. Cancellation conditions are specified in the general terms and conditions (link below).

Several travel options are available, depending on your preferences:

  • By car, with the convenience of an on-site electric vehicle charging station at the chalet's private parking.
  • By train, via the Riddes SBB/CFF station, with a connecting postal bus. Martigny and Sion stations are approximately 20-25 minutes away by car, and Lausanne is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Transfers and taxi services can be arranged upon request.
  • By air, from Geneva or Sion airports – with private transfers available. You can also directly reach Martigny (or Riddes) train station from Geneva airport station. 

Check-in is available from 3 PM, and check-out until 11 AM.

If you wish to arrive earlier or depart later, please contact us in advance so we can find the best solution together.

For self-catered stays, a key box code will be provided if needed, allowing you to arrive at any time after 3 PM.

Children are very welcome at the chalet.
A family room can accommodate 2 to 4 children and includes a private en-suite bathroom.
Children may dine with the other guests, or earlier during the aperitif, under adult supervision. Tailored menus can be arranged upon request.
Books, movies and games are available for their enjoyment at the chalet.

La Tzoumaz also offers a wide range of family-friendly activities, including the longest toboggan run in Western Switzerland.

The chalet has been designed and is operated with sustainability at its core.
We adhere to the guidelines of the Swisstainable and Valais Excellence – Positive Economy certifications, and an application for the European eco-label certification is currently underway.

This certification is based on compliance with 67 criteria divided into five categories: general management, energy consumption reduction, water consumption reduction, waste and wastewater management and sorting, and other environmental commitments.
